Best Practices for All Instructors

  • Provide a detailed course syllabus that outlines the expectations
  • Begin each class with a review of material previously presented and an outline of topics to be discussed
  • Explain class assignments both orally and in writing, noting deadlines
  • Summarize important points at the end of the class and allow time for questions and clarification
  • Make lecture notes available for students
